We would like to inform you about a future change in the production process of Nutrient Pad Sets from Sartorius.
Nutrient Pad Sets are substrates of dehydrated nutrient media in a petri dish with a suitable membrane filter. Cellulose substrates are impregnated with nutrient media and then dehydrated, in order to guarantee a long service life of 2 years. Before using this type of media, Nutrient Pads must be activated with 3.5 ml of sterile water. Nutrient media sets are used in microbiological quality control of beverages and environmental water samples.
Updating changes in 2024.:
Due to new regulations and safety restrictions, Sartorius is introducing changes in the production process of nutrient media. Alternates have no effect on media color, pH value, selectivity, recovery rate or final product quality.
