In a series of filtration products made of cellulose acetate and cellulose nitrate, trends in reduced demand were observed. Based on these trends, Sartorius decided to discontinue certain filtration products.
This discontinuation includes the following product families:
• Sartobran® P (pore size 0.1 μm)
• Sartoclean® CA (pore sizes 0.2 μm, 0.45 μm, 1.2 μm)
• Sartoclean® GF (pore size 0.45 μm)
• CA membrane disc filters (> 140 mm diameter)
• CN membrane disc filter (> 140 mm diameter)
• Sartoclean® JumboStar (pore size 1.2 μm)
• Aqua Star CA
• Vinosart® BE
Discontinuation of Sartobran® P 0.1 μm will become effective January 31st, 2022. Last orders for these products can be placed until 31st of October 2021. All other product families will be discontinued by July 31st, 2021 with last order placement until 31st of May 2021.
