The Sterisart® NF system is based on a membrane filtration method for testing the sterility of pharmaceutical products. With more than 20 different types of units, technicians can selectively select which adapter or system best suits their application. The Sterisart® universal pump transfers the sample to the filtration units. After washing, the filtration units are filled with culture and used to incubate the filter without any contact with the environment. After 14 days of incubation, a visible result is available (turbidity | no turbidity). The Sterisart® NF system is available with different types of adapters, ie for powders, medical devices (bags), open and closed systems with pre-filled syringes. Depending on the application, ethylene oxide (EO) and gamma-irradiated systems are available.
Sterisart® sterility test containers undergo rigorous quality control to ensure reliable results, thereby preventing the costly and long-term consequences of incorrect testing and the risk of microbial contamination in therapy.
