Picus® 2 pipettes are equipped with a Bluetooth connection and connect to your mobile device. Install the Sartorius Pipetting mobile app to easily and intuitively start work processes. The app also allows you to update the pipettes to the latest software.
Ergonomics and easy handling
Pipette effortlessly thanks to the uniquely light and simplified design of the Picus® 2 (only 100 grams, single-channel model with a volume of 1,000 µL). Conveniently located soft-touch operating button and electronic attachment ejection reduce muscle tension for left- and right-handed users. The comfortable design of the handle and finger hook ensure that the Picus® 2 pipette rests comfortably in your hand.
Safety features and reminders
To improve pipette compliance, Picus® 2 offers security features such as password protection and calibration reminders. The Picus® 2 can be programmed with service and calibration reminders, which you can protect among other important settings using the password protection feature.
Easy cleaning
Pipette cleaning is an essential part of good laboratory practice. Picus® 2 pipettes are easy to open and clean. Thanks to the high-quality materials, the lower components of the pipette can be decontaminated by autoclave (except for multi-channel 1200 µL models), UV or disinfectants.

The pipette battery usually lasts a full working day and can be fully charged in an hour. Picus® 2 pipettes can be charged using a single pipette charging stand, a four pipette charging stand or using a USB cable while the pipette is in use.
The Picus® 2 pipette is capable of doing everything previous pipettes can do - the main reason to upgrade now is to take advantage of the connectivity and the ability to use all the features of the Sartorius Pipetting app. The Sartorius Pipetting mobile app is ideal for running sample preparation protocols, automating the change of pipette settings.
Press the shortcut and select the program with the adjustment wheel. Press the OK function key to load the saved program.
This can happen if the extension is close to the liquid after application. When dispensing, press and hold the operating button as long as the extension is inside the container. Release the operating button only when the extension is far enough away from the liquid.
Picus® Nxt pipettes have three charging options: USB AC adapter with cable, charging stand for 1 pipette or carousel charging for 4 pipettes. Stands are the most convenient way to charge the battery. The USB cable can be used for charging while pipetting. Stands and USB adapter are available separately.
